Visits are seen by Nurse Jackson – a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than five decades of nursing experience.

When to Go to the ER Instead

Please note that urgent care can’t treat anything life-threatening. Call 911 or go straight to the nearest emergency room for:

  • Chest pain
  • Trouble breathing
  • Severe bleeding
  • Sudden confusion or signs of a stroke
  • A major injury

If you’re not sure whether something counts, call 911 or go to the ER.

  • Nurse Jackson reviews your symptoms and does an exam
  • You leave with treatment, a prescription, or a referral, depending on what you need

How long does a visit generally take?

It depends on what you are getting seen for, but most visits are a lot faster as average ER wait.

What if it is more serious than I think?

Nurse Jackson will immediately find out if you require a higher level of care and direct you to the emergency room or specialists.
